Content Cluster

A broad pillar page plus a set of linked pages covering its subtopics, structured so the group ranks better than the parts would.

A content cluster is one substantial page on a broad subject surrounded by narrower pages on its component questions, with links running both ways. The pillar targets the head term, the supporting pages target the specific ones, and the internal linking makes the relationship explicit.

The structure works because it matches how engines model topics. A page on a subtopic that links up to a comprehensive parent, and sits alongside siblings covering adjacent questions, is easier to place than the same page floating alone — and it demonstrates the coverage that topical authority rewards.

A glossary is the cleanest example of the shape: a hub that defines the field, individual pages that each answer one question completely, and cross-links between terms that a reader would genuinely follow.
